Review for Engaging by Sarah Curtis: ★★★★★

Engaging (Alluring #2)Engaging by Sarah Curtis

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I was gifted a copy of Engaging by the author and it was another 5 star read from Sarah Curtis.

Gage is the HOT, lead singer of a rock band  and five years ago made a terrible mistake. He let the girl of his dreams get away!! It seems fate has other ideas when a chance encounter brings them back together!! Can they mend what is broken between them?

I couldn't wait to dive right in to this book after finishing Alluring. As I had just finished Alexis and Jackson's story, i thought i may struggle to get into Cassie and Gage's story but i was wrong! I absolutely loved it!! I think i actually liked Gage more than i did Jackson. Boy was Gage persistent. He was such an alpha male that made my heart melt!!!
Another reason i LOVED this story was the issue of animal abuse and her message that it's NOT okay!! It definitely isn't okay and although it can be hard to read it just made the story all the more real to me.  Well done Sarah!!
I would definitely recommend it to any body!

Gage Hunter, lead singer for the rock group, Engage, made a mistake five years ago. He let the girl of his dreams get away. When an unexpected encounter brings them together again, fate is offering Gage a second chance. But will Cassie?

Cassie Wagner never expected to see Gage again. The man who shattered her dreams as well as her heart, five years ago. He's asking for forgiveness, but he's not the only one who needs forgiving, for she too made a mistake.

As they struggle to mend what's broken between them, an outside force threatens Cassie, and Gage's relentless pursuit, turns into an overwhelming desire to protect the woman he loves. Can Gage stop the danger before it destroys their second chance at happiness?

This is a full-length, steamy, contemporary romance. While Engaging can be enjoyed as a stand-alone, it is part of a series started with Alluring and contains some spoilers. **Trigger warning** This book deals with the abuse and rescue of "fighting dogs". No dogs are killed. I am an avid animal lover and wanted to spread the word that animal cruelty is NOT okay.
